Hello! I'm Doug, the current owner of TLC Roofing MD. To this day, TLC is a 3rd generation, veteran owned and family operated roofing company with 64 years of experience in the industry. TLC was founded by my Great-Uncle Thomas Lovins. His roofing career began in 1961 when he started practicing common roofing techniques with copper, tin, and shingles for residential customers in the Washington DC area. Almost 30 years later, in 1988, TLC was born. Thomas continued to provide professional roofing services for residential and commercial customers until 2001 when my uncle, Richard Duley, took over the company. Shortly after that, in 2004, I started working at TLC and began to learn the ins and outs of the industry. In 2025, we decided it was time for me to step into the owners position and continue the family business. Our company continues to service customers in the Delmarva area. We remain family owned and operated with specializations in shingle and flat roofing systems with decades of experience in residential and commercial roofing. This is our story, thanks for reading.
